Believe it or not, you may actually feel strange after your braces are removed. Your finished photo will show a gorgeous smile and the only adjustment you have here is to get ready for all the compliments.<\/p>\n

What’s a Retainer?<\/h2>\n

You may need a retainer to make sure your teeth remember their new positions.
\nThey can be clear plastic removable retainers:<\/p>\n

or fixed permanent retainers (meaning you do not have to take them out and put them in)<\/p>\n

\"permanent-retainer\"<\/p>\n

You will need to wear your retainer to maintain your new smile. Your orthodontist will recommend this option if needed during your treatment.<\/p>\n

Please note: you will still need to wear your vacuum formed retainers with the fixed retainer.<\/strong><\/p>\n
